As Fortune Drilling, we have participated as Chartering of a Jack-Up Drilling Rig under Bareboat for The Barzan Gas Project is a major $10.4 billion upstream development in Qatar's North Field. It produces approximately 1.4 billion standard cubic feet of sales gas per day for domestic power and water, alongside ethane, condensate, and sulfur.

• Project Scope
• Location: Offshore North Field and onshore at Ras Laffan Industrial City.
• Capacity: 1.4 Bscfd of sales gas, 2,000 tons/day of ethane, 1,500 mt/day of LPG, 30,000 b/d of condensate, and 3,500 mt/d of sulfur.

• Infrastructure: Three unmanned offshore wellhead platforms, subsea pipelines, and a large onshore processing plant.
• Purpose: To meet the growing demand for energy in Qatar's domestic market, particularly for power generation and water desalination, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030.
• Operations: The facility achieved initial production and was inaugurated in 2022, supplying fuel for infrastructure projects including the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The project, which began development in 2011, is critical to ensuring a sustainable supply of clean-burning natural gas for industrial growth in Qatar.
